Composed of ten evenly faceted panels and finished with a graceful handle and hand-tinned interior, this is Kenny Son’s Decagonal Brass Pitcher: a thoughtful expression of his aim to create “work that has life—objects that add significance to everyday environments.” With a capacity of approximately 7 cups (1.6 liters), the pitcher is equally suited to serving water at the table or tea outdoors. Each piece is handmade, with joints and solder lines left visible as quiet evidence of the process, while the interior bears the subtle markings of tinning applied by hand using traditional techniques. The brass exterior is finished with a soft, brushed surface that will develop a rich, natural patina over time, allowing the pitcher to age gracefully alongside its use.
