Under head coach Arthur Mansfield University of Wisconsin Baseball had an overall record of 8-17, going 3-9 in conference play in ’49 before a significant rebound the following year. The 1950 team went 9-3 during the season, winning their conference and making the program’s lone trip to the College World Series (so far).
