Yarrow Extract (Wildcrafted)

Wild Yarrow is a blossoming perennial, abundantly found in North America but also native to Europe and Asia. The herb produces leaves that are silky soft and segmented, akin to that of a feather.  Achillea millefolium produces stalks during the summer months, with a maximum height that is dependent upon seasonal rainfall. During drought years, these stalks may only grow a foot or two, so as to store energy within the roots. During fall, bunches of small white flowers burst atop the stalks, releasing a distinctive & identifying aroma. Yarrow was awarded the Latin name Achillea in respect of the legendary Greek hero Achilles.
