DETAILS Trust No One, the proverbial message echoed throughout George Orwell's seminal novel 1984; written as a dire warning against societal dangers absent traces of individuality, love, and critical thinking. Citizens' thoughts and activities are constantly monitored via Big Brother's recorders and telescreens. Anyone who commits a crime, even “thought-crime”, is considered a serious criminal facing deadly consequences. As a tribute to the importance of free speech and privacy, the words Don't Trust Anyone appear embossed on the cap's front panel in raised acrylic 3D print highlighted by the all seeing eye as a beacon. This symbolic 5 panel, composed of an 80/20 cotton-polyester blend, makes an impactful statement with the brim's underside reading: Illuminati.
