Xiaodi Liu currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Oboe at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. She has held positions with the Atlanta Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the Shanghai Symphony, the Symphony of Southeast Texas, and Opera in the Heights (Houston, TX). In addition, she has performed as Guest Principal Oboe with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Florida Orchestra, and has also appeared as a guest musician with the Cleveland Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, Houston Ballet Orchestra, and the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra. She was recently featured in a recording on the Evidence Classics label performing Michael Fine's Oboe Quintet. During her summers, she regularly performs with Festival Mozaic in San Luis Obispo, California, and has also appeared with the Spoleto USA, Colorado College, and Aspen
