Razor Blade Disposal Container

Throwing used razor blades in the trash is a big no-no... While the blades are technically recyclable, it's important to dispose of them properly to ensure the safety of both the recycling workers, and the environment.  Instead, store them in this razor bank, and once it's full: Take it to a sharps collection location, such as a doctor's office, medical center, or pharmacy. Contact your city to ask if their scrap metal recycling program accepts used razor blades. Send your 'bank' to Terracycle, where they will take any and all blades and recycle them for you. Seal this container and toss it in the trash. This isn't the most sustainable option, but if your municipality doesn't recycle blades, there is little we can do. Note: we'll always encourage reusing what you already have before making a purchase. If you don't care about the aesthetic of a razor bank, you can also use something like an empty soda can to collect your blades :)
