Overview EECO is pleased to offer the TC2-1 tire tread cutter for sale. The TC2-1 Tread Cutter is a stage 2 machine that cross-cuts tire treads after the sidewalls have been removed, resulting in tread chunks that are easier to bale, compress, or process further. Operating the TC2-1 is easy. Simply feed the tread into the cutting wheels; the wheels will pull most treads through as they cut. The standard feeder jaw helps to safely load treads; if they are not pulled in by the cutting wheels, just lift the handles. The machine should remain powered on between consecutive cuts. The production rate of the tread cutter matches that of the sidewall remover with a time per cut of 2 to 3 seconds. The 6" Cutting Blade for TC2-1 hardened steel cutting discs will cut 100,000 treads. The only maintenance required is to keep the drive chain lubricated and adjusted.
