This bold and striking Sun Spiral eye patch is for the pirate who wants to stand out from the scurvy crowd. The Sun Spiral symbol was hand-carved and then painted black on the dyed-orange leather. The spiral is an ancient symbol of the sun, and is one of the most elegant forms found in nature. This high-quality handmade eye patch is made of durable hardened leather and can be worn over either the left or right eye. Each eye patch fastens with lightly waxed black cotton cords, tied with sturdy sliding knots which are fully adjustable to fit men, women, and teens. I opted not to use elastic, as it can tend to stretch and wear out quickly -- also because I just don't like the way it looks and feels.
