Sandbar

Am I the only one who thinks that sandbars are a quintessential part of summer? Quiet moments, away from the crowds, heading off to explore new places‚ ones that may only be there for a short while. Enormous tides in Cape Cod rearrange the sand daily, with 10+ foot swings, every day. Sandbars and other formations sometimes appear for a while at lower tides, depending on recent wave action. Here, an alluring sandbar stills the water caught in the shallows, that reflects silvery blue from the surface ripples. Pairs well with Meander and Oceanic.
