Spirits

I created this image of Cypress Trees in the backyard swamp of my childhood home in Jacksonville, Florida.  The swamps in Florida get lots of bad press, but I love them to this day (we never had alligators in ours, just great blue herons and otters).  Swamps are beautiful and peaceful, if a little buggy, and this one holds such fond memories from my childhood.  I was delighted to revisit and give it a place in my portfolio as an adult, working artist.
