Info Specs The new Phoenix bass retains much of the forward thinking design ideas of the vintage Electra bass, while updating the body and electronics to meet the needs for the modern bass player. Moving the bass side horn out to the 12th fret and adding generous belly, forearm and treble side horn contours makes this bass comfortable to play while retaining its aggressive look. The Phoenix Bass is also Electra’s first collaboration with EMG and includes two proprietary EMG PHZ pickups combined with our 5-way rotary selector and new Electra Coil Linkage System (CLS). This provides bass players with a wide array of series and parallel coil combinations and a ton of analog tone. The Phoenix bass has an Alder Body, Ebony Fretboard, and Mother of Pearl Inlay.
