Meola 1084 Carbon 3.5 Inch Paring Knife

This integral paring knife by Akiva Meola is forged from a single piece of 1084 high-carbon steel, creating a true unibody design. Lightweight and compact, it’s a versatile tool built for tight prep work and fine detail in the kitchen. The steel carries a bit of history—originally used in the Union Pacific rail line, Akiva has repurposed it into a functional, modern blade. The tapered handle and integrated finger choil give you a secure grip, even when wet, while the rounded, satin-polished spine and choil add comfort despite the knife’s small size. Simple, durable, and thoughtfully built, this knife is a unique piece with real workhorse utility. NOTE: All processes are done in house and by hand. This means there are slight variations among the blades. NOTE: Blade may rust if left wet, this is NOT a stainless steel.
