Czarina Crown

Our Czarina Crown is an intricate heirloom crown woven of dozens of garnets.  Garnets, brass wire Frozen lakes, stone spires, blood red lips: here is a crown worthy of a Russian faerie tale, or the Queen of Hearts. Four tall ferns are wrapped by hand of antique brass and dozens of garnet gemstone briolettes.  The shape is a faerie crown, small in circumference but whimsically tall. It's a silhouette that brings to mind illustrations by Arthur Rackham or Edmund Dulac, but this tall crown has a twist: it is so delicate and airy that it's still quite wearable for all its height. Completely saturated in the sheer carat weight of faceted gemstones, this glitters brightly in the sun. For all that, this is an extremely light crown. You could easily forget you have it on Four spires of antique brass filigree cones house the torch of hefty chunks of dark garnets. The same large faceted garnets ring the base of the crown, along with A-grade lapis lazuli rounds, a treasured stone. The deep midnight blue with silver veins offsets all the red and brass and brings the color scheme into richer and more exotic territory. Faceted square-cut garnets finish out the piece by snaking around the double rings of the base. How to Wear: This crown is so light you can easily pin it into any hairstyle with a few bobby pins through the openwork wire base.
