This luminous one-of-a-kind South-Sea Tahitian Baroque Fireball Pearl with mauve, purple, and golden sheen, is an absolute symphony of wearable art! Pearls are formed when a tiny irritant, like a grain of sand, gets inside the sensitive inners of a mollusk. The mollusk begins to wrap the grain of sand in a coat of hard, shiny, nacre. It wraps it over and over, until a Pearl, so beautiful, and truly one of its kind, is made.
