Soft and supple for a smooth highway ride, the factory shocks of the Chevy Silverado 1500 or its GMC twin simply can’t hang in the dirt. Like Danny Devito doing bench presses, the OEM shocks quickly get overwhelmed. The result is a rough ride, getting tossed around the cab, and slow going in anything slightly rough. Fox's Performance Series shocks eliminate this poor performance in the dirt. With 2-inch diameter shock bodies, Fox's shocks hold more fluid and have larger valving pistons. The result is an increase in damping force and fade-free performance with shock fluid temperatures remaining in check. Every Fox shock is valved specifically for its application so that compression and rebound are spot on. Translation? A: Typically, Fox Shocks will be pre adjusted to the highest setting per application. Example if the coilover is 0-2”, our experience shows that out of the box the vehicle will net close to 2” of lift. Fine tune adjustment can be made once installed. Q: Will these shocks work with AT4/TrailBoss equipped vehicles? A: Yes, they will work as a factory upgrade shock package however, you will not net any additional lift height over factory on the AT4/TrailBoss trim vehicles.
