In this piece, one small eggshell is intentionally missing, its absence now resting at the bottom of the frame. That detail speaks to the handmade nature of the work—to the choices, accidents, and edits that happen along the way. For some, it may read as loss or vulnerability; for others, as balance, openness, or even possibility. I like that it leaves room for interpretation, allowing each viewer to bring their own meaning to what’s incomplete. The is the first piece a series called Perfection—in the way we so often say “it’s perfection” when, of course, it isn’t. The title holds that quiet contradiction, honoring the beauty of things that are slightly off, visibly touched, and undeniably human. ______ Details: SIZE: 24" x 24"
