Red Blue

Each page of Red/Blue journeys through a dance between red and blue painted forms and stitching. The two colors Red & Blue represent two views alternating back and fourth as a dialogue, a dance between entities that form relationships. Communication becomes a lens looking at how two colors can unite but retain their identity. This work is a commentary on freedom of speech and the beauty of differences. Represented with painting and stitching that alternate and make visible the contrast, this book can be read as a codex or in unison standing upright, with the pages fanning out from their binding.
