The Ellis Light Duty Steel Lifting Shore is a patented adjustable structural support system incorporating a thrust bearing to reduce turning effort under load by 90%. These lifting shores can be used in temporary or permanent installations and offer safe load ratings up to 20,000 lbs. They are frequently used for additional support in crawl spaces and attics, and are also excellent for support under floors, ceilings, decks or staircases, as well as beams and slabs of wood, metal or concrete. Used the 3/4" Diameter Steel Adjustment Rod to lift loads up to 20,000 lbs. The patented Ellis Thrust Bearings on the Light Duty Lifting Shores enable these shores to lift up to 10x the amount of load compared to the Light Duty Steel Shores (w/o bearings).
