Stained Glass Pumpkins with Jena DelCid
Join us for a fabulous class in our new location, just in time for fall - stained glass pumpkins! With her unique style and relatable approach, Jena will take you through all the steps of the popular copper foil technique. Copper foil, also known as the “Tiffany” method, originated in the Tiffany glass studios in the late 1800s and is the stained glass method most commonly used in the U.S. today. In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn to cut a pattern, score and break the glass components. Then, you’ll wrap the edges of the glass with copper foil tape, and join the pieces together with solder. Come ready to have fun and leave with a one-of-a-kind stained glass pumpkin, perfect for a sunny window or to add jazz up your fall decor. This is a beginner workshop and no experience is necessary, but even those who have taken a stained glass class will enjoy working with Jena. This class involves handling sharp glass and hot solder and is open to students aged 16 and older. Sign up today –
