This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Brown Mallee Burl (Eucalyptus viridis) with Black Palm (Borassus flabellifer) cap. Brown Mallee is rapidly becoming my favorite burl. It is heavy, stable, densely patterned with minimal checks and voids. Turn and thread well. The golden brown color is also unique.  Capped with Black Palm for contrast and added visual interest.A nice box for your valuables.
