This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Blue Mahoe (Hibiscus elata) with  Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap.  Another rare timber, Blue Mahoe is Jamaica's national tree.  The wood varies greatly in color from silvery gray to dark purplish blue.  It also have a nice, subtle sheen that is very difficult to photograph.  Capped with the eye-catching betelnut, this is a uniquely colored acorn for your collection.  A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. Good for small daily pills, keepsake...
