Reserved for Fab: LV-2703 Tulipwood & Verawood Acorn Box, Secret Compartment-SCREW CAP

This is a mini acorn box made out of Tulipwood (Dalbergia decipularis) with Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) cap.  Brazilian Tulipwood is a true rosewood species with beautiful pink striped pattern.  It is one of the brightest rosewood, color-wise. and hold it's color well.  The wood is extremely fine, polishes up to a hard shine.  Verawood is a fine, hard and heavy wood (also known as Argentine Lignum Vitae) with a nice green patina after exposure.  The cap of this box was turned and let to "aged" in my workshop for awhile to achieve the green tone. Another fun eggplant species to brighten any collection.This pretty acorn has a small secret compartment for daily pills or memorial keepsake. The screw-on cap ensures that your content is secured, yet can be easily accessed.
