Marigold for October (Print)

5x7 print on heavyweight matte paper. Original watercolor on cyanotype was 5x7 and was photographed to create a digital file. The flowers of the month for October are the Cosmos and Marigold. I chose to paint the Cosmo in abstract watercolor and the marigold in watercolor on cyanotype.  The Marigold represents passion and creativity while the cosmo represents peace and tranquility. I felt I had to create both since they had such different meanings.
