Waterproof Exit Sign

Overview The Waterproof Exit Sign uses a hermetically sealed fiberglass housing to protects internal electrical components from rain, snow, and sleet. It has all the features of a standard exit sign, but with the ability to be installed outdoors or in wash down areas. The Waterproof Exit Sign uses energy efficient LED lights that consume less than 5 watts of electricity at all times. The included nickel-cadmium battery provides 90 minutes of emergency illumination when AC power is lost. When the Waterproof Exit Sign is connected to AC power, it will illuminate the exit sign and charge the Ni-Cd battery simultaneously. A backup battery testing system comes standard with this fixture to make monthly and yearly tests quick. This fixture can be used in freezing temperatures if the optional internal heater is added.
