Overview The EXIT-NY Series is steel exit sign that is approved for use in New York City. 8" high, 1" wide red letters are featured with a white baked enamel finish. Bright and efficient LEDs provide reliable EXIT illumination and a small battery backup system is located inside the unit, providing reliable emergency power. A push-to-test button allows for easy testing of the battery backup system. NYC exit signs are manufactured from metal, this one from 20-gauge steel. This New York City exit sign comes with a universal mounting plate allows for effortless installation by the top, side, or back of the unit. Comes complete with two EXIT face-plates and one back-plate, so it can be configured for wither single or double sided applications. Operates using 120 or 277v AC power. Damp location rating is standard and the unit is UL 924 Listed and code compliant throughout North America.
