This emulator tricks your McLaren into thinking you have a genuine battery. You can use ANY battery you wish. Simply connect positive and negative power and plug into the BMS plug on the car. Gen 2 and Gen 3 cars are a direct plug in. Gen 1 cars need to adapt to future generation plugs or wire directly to the orange wire on the plug.
