Product description: It is a fatty acid derivative with surfactant properties, whose molecule is a zwitterion (with a quaternary cationic ammonium group and an anionic carboxylate group). It is a good foamer (fine and stable), and its handling is easy due to its low viscosity. It is compatible with anionic, cationic and non-ionic substances. It does not present the relative aggressiveness against skin and mucous membranes that anionic surfactants have. However it is usually formulated together with these at 20 - 40 % with respect to the total surfactant mixture.
