The Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) at Emory University is providing distance training to prepare people to serve as Lifestyle Coaches to deliver the evidence-based National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP). This 3-day training will be held virtually on January 27, 28 & 30, 2026. Please make note of the following training hours as they are required to complete the hours required for a Lifestyle Coach training certification:  Tuesday, January 27th, from 1:00pm - 5:30pm Eastern Time (ET) Wednesday, January 28th, from 1:00pm - 5:30pm ET Friday, January 30th, from 1:00pm - 5:30pm ET The CDC-led National DPP is an evidence-based lifestyle change program for preventing type 2 diabetes. The year-long program helps participants make real lifestyle changes such as eating healthier, including physical activity into their daily lives, and improving problem-solving and coping skills.
