  The Journey socks is inspired by the so-called, "Ghana Must Go" bag. It was a symbol linked to the 1983 expulsion of over 2 million undocumented migrants from Nigeria, half of whom were Ghanaians. These sturdy, spacious bags became essential as families carried their belongings during forced migration. The bag, though widely used across countries, carries deep historical and political symbolism tied to migration, displacement, and resourcefulness.
