Summary: One of the first guitars to be rolled out after Gibson snagged Epiphone, the Coronet snagged a few famous players like Johnny Marr. Its body shape is unique, but not uncommon for several the solid bodies released by Epiphone at the time. The third and final iteration of the original Coronet run saw the symmetric body replaced by the more familiar asymmetric design. It also saw a departure from the Gibson-style open book headstock to Epiphone's own "Batwing" 6-in-line headstock design. This later version of the Coronet was also available with a vibrato.Body: Mahogany finished in Cherry, double cutaway, asymmetrical shape. Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1 9/16” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
