1975-1977 Ibanez Futura 2469

Summary: This guitar was part of the trio including the 2459 Destroyer, 2469 Futura, and the 2387 Rocket Roll Sr. The 2387CT was introduced by Ibanez in 1975. It was made in Japan by FujiGen. This model is known as the “Futura”. The 2469 features a swoopy, pointy body modeled on the Gibson Moderne. It has a solid ash body mated to a set-in 3-ply maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. It has two Super 70’s humbuckers and gold “Star” tuning keys. Body: Solid Ash with a gloss finish. Neck: 3-piece Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.699” nut width, 22 frets. Pearl dot inlays.
