Summary: First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the Mini Humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. However, you could special order one with full-size humbuckers and “Standard” specifications. This 1971 Les Paul Deluxe was factory routed for full-size humbuckers. This Deluxe has had its tuning keys replaced and it’s also been refretted. It has a non-original harmonica style bridge, black plastics, and gold top hat control knobs. Body: Mahogany, pancake body, vintage sunburst finish. Neck: 3-piece Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.675” nut width, 22 frets, pearl block inlays. Pickups/Hardware: Two factory full-sized humbuckers, chrome Grover tuning keys (replacements), harmonica style bridge (non-original), black plastics, gold control knobs, stop bar tailpiece.
