Summary: One of three Telecaster models launched in the early ‘70s, the Telecaster Custom was the first Telecaster to feature a combination of a single-coil pickup at the bridge and a Wide Range humbucker at the neck. This 1973 Telecaster Custom has two changed pots for the bridge pickup. The bridge is a replacement as well. It’s in great shape and has wear that is consistent with an instrument from this time period. It’s light, plays great, and sounds fantastic. Body: Solid, single cutaway, gloss Natural finish. Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.555” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays. Pickups/Hardware: Wide Range humbucker (neck position)/Single Coil pickup (bridge position), “F” logo tuning keys, 3-bolt construction, bone nut, black pickguard, individual saddles, 2x volume controls/2x tone controls/3-way pickup selector, chrome hardware.
