1978 Fender Mustang

Summary: The Mustang is a dual-pickup, 22-fret, medium-scale guitar and it has an offset waist like a Jazzmaster and was the first of the student models to feature a vibrato system. This 1978 Mustang has the larger headstock with “F” tuning keys that have more of a square shape. This model has three-ply black pickguard, solid black pickup covers and black pickup switches. This guitar has the original case and plays and sounds fantastic. Body: Solid double cutaway, offset, Natural gloss finish. Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 24” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, 22 frets, black dot inlays, larger headstock.Pickups/Hardware: Two single coil pickups, master volume/master tone controls, on/off slider and in/out phase switches, floating bridge and “Dynamic Vibrato” tailpiece, F key silver tuning keys, black pickguard.Cosmetics: This guitar is in great vintage condition.
