empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic, well preserved large and strong running 18 size American WALTHAM pocket watch a sturdy case . The watch was serviced here in our atelier and is running well, keeping good time! The watch houses an early grade 18 classic Nickel finish crown wind/crown set movement, estimated to 1898 and is a fine hi grade American made movement running on 7 jewels.The movement is cased in a sturdy PHILADELPHIA Silverode (Nickel/Steel composition similar to stainless steel) in great condition with normal signs of age and usage. It has an original tight bow and an original crown with a near mint acrylic crystal.The dial is a factory original enamel in excellent condition, no visible damage, and has an original set of hands.This large and impressive American pocket watch measures 54mm side to side (excluding crown).
