The watch houses a rare and early 117 'Quadron' barrel shaped caliber running on 17 jewels with sub seconds complication. It is cased in a classic rectangular shaped 14K white gold filled case with decorations in Art Deco motif on the sides and comes with a mint crystal and an original crown.The dial is a factory original hard enamel dial with applied solid gold  Breguet style numerals, ,quite an unusual upgraded setting, with an original set of hands. This rare Gruen watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 38mm from top lug to bottom lug. Attached to this watch is a standard length, brand new 16mm wide genuine leather band in black tone with an anti-allergic white tone buckle.
