This watch is unique for two reasons; It has an early AS-1171 based bumper automatic wind movement which is a re-design of the famous Harwood; in addition it is an early attempt of waterproof technique with four pressure screws on the back. In excellent overall condition, it is a great addition to any serious vintage collection! The watch houses a bumper automatic A3ZB caliber, which is a compensating, non-magnetic AS-1171 based caliber, running on 17 jewels with a more rare sub seconds seconds. It is cased in a CROTON unique pressure case with four screws on the back and mint internal framed crystal, an early attempt in waterproofing techniques (please note, this watch was not tested as waterproof).
