Wulfenite (D-49)

This Wulfenite was harvested in Northern Mexico. Wulfenite ordinarily crystallizes as thin, beveled, square plates that have a resinous to adamantine luster, and they are yellow to orange and sometimes brown in color. Wulfenite forms in heavily oxidized lead deposits and can be found in association with a number of other minerals such as Pyromorphite, Mimetite, Hemimorphite and Smithsonite.
