Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. Two internal pre-wired 120VAC power outlets are provided to power your equipment.Get your project up and running quickly and transition to hard-wired later if needed. The power cord can removed and the power receptacle can be hard-wired by a qualified installer.Increased Interior SpaceThis enclosure features an extra deep gasketed lid, over 4 inches deep. With the generous size of this enclosure and extended lid the NP141109A1C can accommodate a wide range of equipment.Mount Equipment in the Base and LidThis enclosure provides multiple ways to install equipment. Raised bosses located in both the base and lid of this enclosure can be used to mount an equipment plate. These same bosses can also be used to installed Altelix's 35mm Top Hat DIN Rail kits (sold separately). Up to (4) DIN Rail kits can be installed into the enclosure base and up to (3) DIN Rail kits in the lid. This provides greater versatility when mounting equipment inside the enclosure. A large flat section in both the base and lid are also provided for use with the hook-n-loop tape included in the accessory kit.Note: this enclosure is also available with an aluminum equipment mounting plate (see NP141109PA1C) or a non-metallic PVC equipment mounting plate (see NP141109MA1C).RF Transparent DesignThe NP141109A1C is ideal for WiFi applications. The non-metallic design of both the enclosure and equipment mounting plate will not interfere with the radio's operation.
