Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. Two internal pre-wired 120VAC power outlets are provided to power your equipment.Get your project up and running quickly and transition to hard-wired later if needed. The power cord can removed and the power receptacle can be hard-wired by a qualified installer.Increased Interior SpaceThis enclosure features an extra deep gasketed lid, over 4 inches deep. With the generous size of this enclosure and extended lid the NP171409VA1C can accommodate a wide range of equipment.VentilationThe NP171409VA1C features two vents with rain shields to help expel heat from inside the enclosure. Screens on the inside of the vents can be removed and cleaned as required.Equipment Mounting OptionsThis enclosure provides multiple ways to install equipment. Raised bosses located in the base of this enclosure can be used to mount an equipment plate. These same bosses can also be used to installed up to four 35mm Top Hat DIN Rail kits available from Altelix. A large flat section is also provided in the base for use with the hook-n-loop tape included in the accessory kit.Note: this enclosure is also available with an aluminum equipment mounting plate (see NP171409VPA1C) or a non-metallic PCV equipment mounting plate (see NP171409VMA1C).RF Transparent DesignThe NP171409VA1C is ideal for WiFi applications. The non-metallic design of both the enclosure and equipment mounting plate will not interfere with the radio's operation. The size of this enclosure will fit a wide range of popular wireless access points on the market.Secure Your EquipmentThese NP series enclosures feature dual stainless steel quick release latches.
