Many of our animals, including African painted dogs, maned wolves, and foxes have become true artists and create stunning, one-of-a-kind paintings. To create these works of art, our keepers begin with small dabs of colorful, non-toxic paint on a canvas. After being instructed to present their paws to the keepers, the animals create their own unique designs by swiping their "paw-brushes" through the paint. The artists even add natural elements like leaves, dirt, and rocks!
