Opal Gem for Legacy Ankhs

ANKH SOLD SEPARATELY. Opals are offered as an addition to any First, Second or Third Generation Ankh in the Legacy Ankh Collection and as studs for Ankh Earrings. Colors: Opals were created from layers of silica slurry became compressed over millennia in rock cracks. Because opals, by definition, are hydrated silica, they still contain 3%-30% water. The silica within the gem is what gives Opals their distinctive sparkle. Opals in all colors can sparkle with a rainbow hues depending on clarity . Some, however, display more muted colors due to being more opaque or "Milky". Legacy Ankhs may only hold gems ranging in colors from white/clear, grey, blacks, purples, reds and occasionally amber. Colors offered here include Milky White.
