The Solinst Model 122M Mini Interface Meter is a streamlined, high-performance instrument designed to provide accurate interface depth and product thickness readings in narrow wells, piezometers, sounding tubes, and other installations where space is constrained. Leveraging a miniature probe and laser-marked, chemical-resistant, PVDF cable, the Model 122M delivers dependable detection of floating (LNAPL) and sinking (DNAPL) hydrocarbon layers relative to water, making it well-suited for environmental monitoring, remediation tracking, and regulatory data collection in tight access environments. The P8 Probe included with the Model 122M is engineered to clearly identify water and product layers with high reliability, even in tight diameters and complex borehole geometries. The narrow 5/8" (16 mm) probe is made from durable stainless steel and PTFE, making it resistant to corrosion and chemical degradation. It uses an infrared light and detector system to distinguish between air, water, a
