The ezTCP SIG-5430 is a remote I/O gateway equipped with 4 analog input ports and an Ethernet interface. The device can collect data from various analog sensors in remote places, and then send it to the data center or HMI device via Modbus TCP protocol. The device can also be monitored by using any Modbus TCP software/app, such as ModMap. Each individual analog port has three selectable measured modes: voltage (0 ~ 5V), current (4~20mA), and current (0 ~ 20mA). This makes a single SIG-5430 able to work with many kinds of analog sensors. The analog input ports convert the analog signal (voltage/current) to the 12-bit ADC value (ranging from 0 to 4095). The analog input ports can also be configured to convert the analog signal to the 1-bit ADC value (0 and 1). Similar to the digital input signal, the 1-bit ADC value can be interpreted into a two-state logic, e.g. hot/cool, dry/wet, good/bad, etc. Furthermore, in this case, an analog sensor can be used to remotely trigger relays in other
