The SystemBase Multi-2/USB Combo lets you easily and quickly add additional RS-422/RS-485 serial ports to your system through the USB port. The Multi-2/USB delivers maximum performance up to 921.6Kbps. Combine that with the need for fewer components for cost-effective and reliable connections to your serial devices. The USB to Serial Multi-2 supports support most Windows and Linux operating systems and includes 15,000-volt surge suppression, eliminating blown ports. The Multi-2/USB includes a 2 port panel with DB9 connectors. Simply plug in the USB connector and you have a COM port to connect modems, printers, bar-code scanners, or other serial devices.
