2015 Brooks Pinot Noir Janus

We are always on the hunt to discover new producers, and or re-discover old ones. We have worked a little with the Brooks wines in the past tasting them a few years ago at a big Pinot Noir event in Los Angeles. Their 2015 Pinot Noir Janus is one of the best buy we have come across this year. Their Janus bottling is a blend of some barrels of the vineyard designate wines along with some Willamette Valley fruit. Brooks works in their vineyard as a minimum sustainably, but they now have about five wines that come from Bio-dynamically farmed vineyards. The 2015 Brooks Pinot Noir Janus is firing on all cylinders, it has the rich fruit of the vintage coupled with the delicate spot on wine-making. The result is a stunning bottle of Pinot Noir that should drink nicely over the next 5 to 10 years.
