You Are Near to My Heart, Old Stars and Stripes - Postcard, c. 1900s

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Theochrom postcard from the 1900s. It shows a soldier with one arm around his girl and the other gesturing to the American Flag with his cavalry sword, "You are near to my heart and dear to me - And this are old Stars and Stripes". Copyright 1907, De Witt C. Wheeler. "I am still waiting to hear from you. Hope you are well and I happy - I don't feel good - I have a cold.
