Conical "Ice" Studs

These studs, designed for enhanced grip in challenging conditions are exclusively compatible with our Straight Bar Horseshoes featuring a sturdy metal bar. They are not compatible with the threaded inserts found in horseshoes with a purely plastic bar. The conical studs are self-tapping which makes the stud change out easier. Here are the special features of the sturdy threaded inserts on the straight bar shoes: Capability to accommodate slightly taller studs without risking dislodging the threaded inserts even under extreme loads. Designed for frequent removal and reinsertion of studs. When screwed in, the stud sinks approximately 3 mm into the thread, protecting the first pitch of the screw thread from damage during abrasion and making the thread easier to clean. For instance, with 8mm studs, this implies that the usable height is 5mm.
