The UV Absorbing Glasses are designed to filter out 99.9% of UV wavelengths to protect inspectors eyes from damage from UV radiation. In addition to the protection these glasses offer, the indications observed typically exhibit much higher contrast and brighter yellow/green indications due to the elimination of blue/purple hues eliminated by the filter glass material.
