A simple reflection in a hub cap becomes a not so simple painting! Along with the distortion of the scenery, the mirror image places the driver of the Cobra on the right side of the car. A V/8 tattoo adorns the hitchhiker as the Cobra races to pick her up.The Hub Cap and Cobra used in this work were from friends Augie Reno and his 32 Pick-Up, and Rocker, Robert Mason's Bad Black Cobra. The female model was a composite of parts from some of my favorite models and total fantasy made up in my head.The Original Painting is in a private collection in Boston. 2002
